Dancin' Hawkettes 

Hardaway High School’s Dance Team, “The Dancin' Hawkettes” formerly the Dancin' Hawks, has a long, proud history of excellence that dates back to the early 1990s.  It is the most active, most awarded high school dance team in the city.  Our dancers are a part of the marching band, which allows them to compete with the band, participate in pep rallies, march in local parades, and perform in the stands and on the field at football games.  The dance team also competes at Universal Dance Association’s annual summer dance camp/competition at Auburn University, where they almost always finish in the top 4 teams.  In early Winter, the team competes against other high school dance teams in the areas of Jazz and Hip Hop at UDA’s Georgia Dance Championship.
